Tokey Boswell is the Deputy State Director for Resources, Planning, and Lands in the BLM New Mexico State Office. High profile projects under his team's purview include the Carlsbad resource management plan, the withdrawal of lands around Chaco Canyon national historical park, and permitting ROWs for major transmission and pipelines. Prior to joining the BLM, Tokey spent 20 years with the National Park Service, focused on planning and infrastructure. Other federal experience includes the Federal Transit Administration at DOT HQ and the Peace Corps (as a volunteer in West Africa). Tokey's degrees are in archeology and regional land use planning, he grew up on a farm in Iowa, he loves to golf and play games/puzzles, and he lives with his partner and their pets in Santa Fe.
